There is no doubt that in the last 5 years we have seen quiet quitting, resignations, and more requests of employers from their employees for flexibility and appreciation. Individuals are evaluating what they want out of their workplace and how to make an impact that aligns with their values and strengths. This is where Know Your Dependable Strengths comes into play.

This workshop takes people through a process of remembering experiences that they made happen and that they enjoyed. Within a group, they begin to see patterns of strengths. Their good experiences are the basis for creating their personal strength-based narrative. The power of this workshop is the personal stories, a peer assisted support group, and the use of one’s own words in describing core strengths. Understanding core strengths is helpful in interviews, thinking about career transitions, networking, and increased performance in a current position.

This workshop is best suited for individuals who are exploring their strengths for the purpose of being better in their current job or preparing for a transition such as a job search or retirement. Most importantly the process helps participants improve self-esteem, gain confidence, experience greater joy, as well as satisfaction and sense of purpose and fulfillment.

The philosophy of the Dependable Strengths® course is quite simple: There is excellence in everyone. The Center for Dependable Strengths is committed to helping others discover their gifts, talents, strengths, and excellence!

Quotes from past participants:
“This workshop gave me back the trust in myself that I had lost. I can trust that I can rely upon myself and my dependable strengths to get me through whatever challenges are ahead, and I know where I can ask for help and offer help.”

“You know that terrible question you get asked at the end of every job interview? “Tell us a little bit about yourself.” You will have an answer that is true, resonates with both you and the interviewer, and will get you remembered and referred to an opportunity that will fit you like a glove.”
